CHALLENGE

To unveil the L'DORA Fragrance Series through an engaging and memorable gamified event that fosters deep, lasting motivation and brand allegiance within the company, especially amongst sales leaders.

Target Audience

30+ members from various departments, categorized into three groups based on expected levels of engagement and objectives.

Sales Leaders: Primary audience to be motivated for product sales.
Senior Level Managers: To focus on team building and management skills.
Top-Level Managers: To observe and assess team and individual performances.

SOLUTION

Inspired by the slogan "The Mysterious Desire," I designed a multi-faceted experience aimed at unveiling the character of each L'DORA fragrance. Since each fragrance had a unique color and persona, it provided an excellent basis for eight diverse, theme-centric challenges.

Design and Structure

8 Distinct Challenges: Eight specialized challenges were introduced, each reflecting a unique L'DORA fragrance. Every challenge was harmonized with a specific character and color symbolic of its paired fragrance and its targeted persona.

Challenge Types: Curated a blend of 80% physical and cognitive tasks, with the primary eight challenges emphasizing physical engagement. Cognitive side tasks enriched the overall event immersion.

Six Teams: Segmented participants into six rivalry groups. Challenges had distinct winning metrics, with victors unlocking fragrance-related clues.

Mysterious Clues: Champions were rewarded with eclectic clues: themed-room keys, music tracks, and mocktails emulating the particular scent. These clues deepened the connection to each fragrance's essence.

Auction for Losers: Non-victorious teams participated in an auction, allowing them to bid on suggestive items for upcoming challenges, ensuring continual engagement.

Team Captains: A dynamic twist involved the periodic selection of team captains, occasionally based on gender. This introduced an added strategic dimension and aligned with an enigmatic storyline.

Grand Finale: Set against a sunset waterfront backdrop, participants combined their collective clues in a sensory culmination challenge. Utilizing their olfactory senses, they matched fragrances to colors. Successful pairings ignited fireworks and smoke displays in the fragrance's hue. The grand finale unveiled with a fireworks display in the eight signature colors, succeeded by a product debut projection.
